Why do all males in Queensland end sentences with “ay”?
And use “but” at the end instead of the start of a sentence? (i.e.: “It’s too cold, but”)
Australian English truly astonishes me sometimes.
This is completely true (but it isn’t restricted to males, females say it too). I don’t know why, but I hear people say this all the time.
