SHERlook,guys we need to talk.

One person who has been unfairly overlooked in the fan dominion’s continued deification and personification of Benedict & Martin is the amazingly brilliant director Paul McGuigan and the able assistance of Euros Lyn & Toby Haynes - who both directing sterling episodes within the set SHERLOCK stylish visual aesthetic.

Those GIFs you make of the episode’s moments ? All part of a collaborative effort from literally hundreds of people from DP’s Steve Lawes & Fabian Wagner under the supervision of Paul McGuigan.

Those caps of the episodes he produced - “A Study In Pink” / “A Scandal In Belgravia” / “The Hound Of Baskerville” / “The Great Game” ? Couldn’t have been made without the amazingly talented & grounded Paul McGuigan.

All those moments between Sherlock & Molly/John/Mycroft/Lestrade/Moriarty that you adore ? Over three-quarters of the six hours that currently form the SHERLOCK series were directly made by Paul McGuigan.

Whilst I’m sure the some of the populace that make up the SHERLOCK fan population would wish that the produced episodes are manifestations from a creative nerve currently expounding from Cumberbatch,Freeman & Graves’s combined sexiness…the reality is much different.

Television is a collaborative effort and this post is a recognition of one (very important) collaborator’s work ethic and talent.

SHERLOCK comes back next year and is going to start shooting & production next January.

So I shall see you,and your lovely adorable fandommy things on the other side :D
