I am getting particularly pissed off as I have sent off at least three questions to three separate people and not only haven’t they been answered - there hasn’t even been a response.

In shocking twist (shocked face :o) - no I’m not from BC. I’m from Australia. The land of koalas,kangooroos and totally awesome children television shows.
And yup SPN is filmed in Canada due to both budgetary reasons (cheap ass pilot / season 1) , plus the entire crew / infrastructure migrated from the other paranormal buddy cop show THE X FILES when it concluded in 2002 . Then again,youprobablydefinitely know that.Note: SG-1 rocks :)
You’ve also go Home and Away cred… Grew up watching that show religiously whenever I was in England. But yep I quasi remember really awesome children’s shows as well. :)
Budgetary reasons (read government tax cuts under the Liberals) played a huge role in getting all of the shows shot in Vancouver there, we’ll see what happens now that the Prov Gov is starting to move away from those cut backs - making filming more expensive here as a result.
well lets be honest, the liberals are scary as fuck here. BC is taking a nose dive in so many different places. :(
Considering its not that much of a stretch to say our Provincial Liberal Party is really shorthand for Conservative (and ours Conservatives are to be blunt, somewhat batshit).
While that is true, we are doing much better than other Canadian provinces.

Yeah I totally gathered that. And dude you really,really should watch The X Files. It’s square one for every post-90’s genre show PLUS it’s the best of Canada Vancouver,BC I’ve seen apart from it’s spiritual sequel SUPERNATURAL.
